Bhumi and Sahil

Introducing the Couple: From each other's perspective!

Bhumi

Bhumi is the brightest, warmest presence in every room she walks into. Her laughter is contagious, and her heart is made of pure gold—always finding ways to show up for her family and friends with love and sincerity. She's a proud germaphobe, so if she's not carrying hand sanitizer, chances are she's holding a matcha instead. And if anyone so much as steps outside for five minutes, she'll seriously insist: "We smell like outside—you have to shower." Bhumi constantly challenges those around her to grow, reflect, and become the best versions of themselves—all while embracing them exactly as they are. She'll stay up late to watch basketball games just to show support, even though she's not exactly a fan (despite what she confidently claimed early on). A true travel enthusiast, Bhumi is always ready to explore every corner of the world—but no matter where she lands, she somehow always ends up with sushi and boba in hand.

Sahil

Sahil is calm, clever, and always one step ahead—except when it comes to Bhumi's biggest pet peeve: sitting on the bed in outside clothes. He does it anyway. Daily. It's fine. She's fine. But he more than makes up for it in every other way. Case in point: their very first date at Six Flags. Bhumi casually mentioned she gets dizzy on rides unless she has a fruit punch Gatorade. Most people would pick one up. Sahil rolled up with a trunk full. That pretty much sums it up—thoughtful, over-prepared, and always looking out for the little things that matter. He's the guy who always cooks for Bhumi (without being asked), knows exactly what she needs before she even says it, and will drive hours just to let her sleep in the car. He goes the extra mile in every way, showing love not through grand gestures but through everyday acts of kindness. That's just who he is..

Things to Do in Nashville & Beyond

Nashville isn't just Music City to us—it's home. It's where Bhumi grew up, surrounded by the warmth of family, friends, and memories that shaped who she is today. It's where we've wandered together through the beautiful trails, discovered hidden gems in the lively city, and shared countless special moments that we'll treasure forever. From morning nature walks, shopping days, and unexpected adventures, this city holds so much of our story—each experience made even more meaningful because it's here, in a place that feels like home. More than anything else, it's all about the people, the moments, and the love we share.

As we look forward to celebrating with all of you, here are a few spots we love that we can't wait for you to experience during your trip to Nashville for our weekend.

Shopping & Exploring

Make the most of your time in Music City! Whether you're looking for a little retail therapy, charming neighborhoods, or Instagram-worthy finds, Nashville's got it all:

12 South

A walkable neighborhood filled with local boutiques, coffee shops, and murals (perfect for photos!). While you're there, don't forget to grab a treat from Five Daughters Bakery (ask for their vegan options!)

The Gulch

Stylish, modern, and full of energy—The Gulch is where Nashville goes to be trendy. Think boutique shopping and cool art walls around every corner. It's the perfect spot for a quick photo shoot or a leisurely afternoon of sipping and strolling.

Downtown & Broadway

Live music, honky tonks, and iconic shops line this energetic stretch. Even if you're not into country music, it's worth a visit for the experience. Souvenir shops and boot stores abound—this is your chance to try on a cowboy hat and experience the true southern lifestyle!

Fifth + Broadway

A modern indoor-outdoor shopping and dining destination right in the heart of downtown. You'll find national brands, local eats, and great people-watching.

Opry Mills Mall

For a classic mall experience, Opry Mills has over 200 stores plus entertainment like an aquarium and movie theater. It's just down the road from the Grand Ole Opry, too!

Outdoor Adventures in Nashville

Looking to slow things down and soak in some natural beauty while you're in town? Here are a few of our favorite outdoor spots:

Nashville Zoo at Grassmere

A fun and easy outing—especially for families with kids. Walk through lush grounds and get up close with animals from around the world.

Radnor Lake State Park

Peaceful hiking trails, scenic lake views, and a high chance of spotting deer, turtles, and maybe even an owl or two. It's the perfect nature escape just a short drive from the city.

Cheekwood Estate & Gardens

A gorgeous blend of seasonal blooms, art exhibits, and romantic walking paths. It's the kind of place where you'll want to take your time. Tip: Be sure to grab tickets in advance—this spot is popular!

Centennial Park

A local favorite for laid-back afternoons. You'll find wide-open green space, a charming walking trail, and Nashville's full-scale replica of the Parthenon (yes, really!). Great for a casual stroll or a cozy picnic

Nashville Parthenon

Throwback to our first time in Nashville together, exploring the iconic Parthenon and making unforgettable memories!

For the Fun Seekers

Ready for a little adventure between wedding festivities? Nashville has plenty of exciting options to make your visit unforgettable. Whether you're up for some friendly competition or outdoor thrills, here are some awesome activities to try:

The Adventure Park at Nashville

Zip through the trees or conquer the treetop ropes courses. It's a thrilling challenge for all skill levels (and a great way to feel like a kid again!).

Pinewood Social

Bowling, outdoor games, and great vibes—Pinewood Social is perfect for hanging out and having a blast with friends. Whether you're in the mood for a little friendly competition or just relaxing with friends, this spot has something for everyone.

If you love a little friendly competition, Topgolf offers a modern, fun twist on the classic game. With climate-controlled bays, food, drinks, and games for all skill levels, it's an awesome way to spend time with friends and family while showing off (or just practicing) your swing.

For the Coffee/Boba Lovers

Nashville knows good coffee/boba, and we've done the very important job of taste-testing around town:

Frothy Monkey

A local favorite with a cozy vibe and a great spot to start your day or catch up with friends.

Haraz Coffee House

Coffee with a Turkish twist—and don't miss the pistachio surprise. It's rich, flavorful, and unlike anything else in town.

Crema Coffee Roasters

Minimalist and modern with a focus on quality. Known for smooth espresso, excellent pour-overs, and a killer view of the Nashville skyline from the patio.

Yin Yang Boba (Germantown)

Bhumi swears this is the best boba in Nashville—no debate! The ice is perfectly crunchy, they have a variety of flavors, and the vibes are just right. Treat yourself to her go-to: the Brown Sugar Boba. Your taste buds will thank you!

Bagel (and Biscuit) Stops We Love

Okay, it's not Jersey or NYC—but Nashville holds its own when it comes to bagels. If you're craving a solid schmear or a biscuit with a twist, these are our go-to spots.

When Sahil visited Nashville, Bhumi made it her mission to find the best local bagels that could rival those back home in Jersey. She wanted him to feel at home, one chewy, toasty bite at a time.

We hope you feel the same—and that these spots make you feel right at home too.

Benji's Bagels

True NYC-style bagels to Nashville—with a vibe that's laid-back, local, and seriously delicious. Small-batch, boiled, and baked fresh, Benji's bagels are chewy in the best way and topped to perfection. Bhumi's friends swear by this place, and once you've had a bite, you'll get why. Grab their favorite, Jalapeno cheddar bagel!

Proper Bagel

Trendy, creative, and totally Instagrammable—Proper Bagel is a must for bagel lovers. Located right on Belmont University's campus, this chic spot serves up everything from cream cheese bagels to sandwich bagels, all as delicious as they are photogenic. It's the kind of place where you'll want to try one of everything… and probably take a picture of it all. And yes, it's so yummy!

Jersey Oven

Craving that true Jersey bagel experience? Jersey Oven delivers with East Coast–style bagels that are perfectly chewy, golden, and baked fresh daily. The owner is originally from Jersey, so you know it's the real deal—no shortcuts, no imitations.

Biscuit Love

Not a bagel spot, but worth the detour. Their Southern-style biscuits and famous bronuts are eggless—and ridiculously good.

Maple Street Biscuit Company

Every biscuit here is eggless, and their jams are truly a treat! They also offer eggless cinnabons that are a must-try. The perfect place for a cozy breakfast or brunch.

Nashville's Sweet Spots (Because Life's Too Short Not to Eat Dessert)

Five Daughters Bakery (Vegan options available)

The doughnuts are so good, they'll make you forget every other doughnut you've ever had. Seriously, one bite of the Purist (a favorite of Bhumi, Sahil, and Pooja (Bhumi's sister)—who's basically perfected the art of third-wheeling) and you'll be hooked. Be sure to ask for their vegan options!

Visit: Five Daughters Bakery

Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams (has vegan options)

For the ultimate ice cream experience in Nashville, Jeni's is the place to be! Bhumi and Sahil always make a stop here when Sahil is in town, and it's become a bit of a tradition. With creamy, indulgent options that always hit the spot, Jeni's has become a sweet tradition they both cherish.

Frequently Asked Questions

When is the RSVP due?

Please RSVP by June 12th, 2025 so we can finalize all the details and make sure everything is just right!

Can I bring a plus one?

As much as we would love to celebrate with everyone, due to the venue's capacity and space limitations, we kindly ask that you only bring a plus one if it is specifically mentioned on your invitation. It's truly difficult for us to make these decisions, and we appreciate your understanding as we navigate the details of this special day.

Will there be hotel accommodations?

Yes! We have a block of rooms reserved at the Holiday Inn for our guests. More details, including booking links and group rates, are available on the Accommodations page.

If you have family or friends in Nashville who are willing to host you, we encourage you to consider staying with them to help ensure that hotel rooms remain available for other traveling guests.

What should I wear?

Since this will be a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony, we encourage guests to wear traditional Indian attire if you have it—think vibrant colors, beautiful fabrics, and lots of joy.

That said, we want you to feel comfortable and confident. If you don't have Indian clothes, no worries at all! Wear whatever feels festive to you. Just keep in mind that the ceremony will take place in a Hindu temple, so out of respect for the space:
– Women should wear longer dresses or skirts that extend below the knees and have their shoulders covered
– Men should wear long pants and avoid shorts

Where will the wedding ceremony be taking place?

The ceremony will take place on the BAPS Nashville Mandir campus, in a beautiful outdoor setting surrounded by nature. It's expected to be warm, so we encourage you to dress comfortably and stay hydrated. We'll have ice-cold refreshments and shaded areas available to help keep everyone cool. We can't wait for you to experience the peaceful, joyful energy of this special space with us.

Are children invited?

As much as we'd love to celebrate with everyone, due to space limitations, we're only able to include a certain number of little ones. If your child is invited, they'll be listed on your RSVP count. It's truly difficult for us to make these decisions, and we deeply appreciate your understanding as we plan for an intimate and joyful day.

Will there be accommodations provided for transportation?

To help make your arrivals and departures smooth, the hotel will have shuttles running between the hotel and the airport. More details on the accommodation page.

Please note, there won't be transportation provided from the hotel to the wedding venue on the day of the wedding, so we kindly ask you to plan for your own ride to the venue.

If changes or additional accommodations are needed, we will be providing updates and information via the announcement channel. Join us on Telegram to stay updated: https://www.naturl.link/allbsfromhere

What's the weather like this time of year?

Expect warm and sunny summer vibes in late August. Light, breathable outfits are encouraged—and don't forget your sunglasses and sunscreen! Be sure to stay hydrated throughout the weekend!

If you'd still like to be a part of the celebration, we will have a live telecast of the ceremony for you to watch from afar. We will share the link via the telegram announcements channel closer to our wedding date!

What's the best way to reach out to you with questions?
